Account Blocked
-
Reasons for permanent account block
-
Accounts in exchanges may be permanently blocked for various reasons.
-
These measures are taken to ensure security, compliance with regulations, and to prevent fraud and misuse.
-
Some of the most important reasons that can lead to permanent account blocking are:
-
1. Fraud and Scam
-
Any attempt to engage in fraudulent activities, such as using fake identities, exploiting bonuses or promotions, or conducting illegal transactions, can result in permanent account block.
-
2. Violation of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT) laws
-
Any attempt to transfer money from suspicious sources, engage in money laundering activities, or fund terrorism can result in permanent account blocking.
-
3. Failure in Identity Verification (KYC)
-
Users are required to complete identity verification. If the user’s information is invalid or the KYC process is not completed properly, the account may be blocked.
-
4. Unauthorized account use
-
Using an account for unauthorized purposes such as illegal activities, buying and selling digital currencies on behalf of someone else, or engaging in unauthorized activities on the platform can lead to permanent account block.
-
5. Hacking and unauthorized access to account
-
If a user’s account is accessed by hackers or unauthorized individuals, and suspicious activities are conducted, the exchange may block the account.
-
6. Failure to comply with exchange terms and conditions
-
If users fail to comply with the exchange’s terms and conditions or breach its internal policies, their account may be blocked.
-
7. Increased security risks or security breaches
-
If an account is at risk due to suspicious activities or security vulnerabilities, the exchange may block the account to prevent any damage or harm.
-
If you believe your account has been blocked in error, you may request a review by emailing
-
and submit a review request.
-
If you notice any suspicious activity, contact support.
Blocked Balance
-
What is a blocked balance?
-
In OXICHANGE, a section called “Blocked Balance” is available in the wallet section to manage and control balances that are temporarily or permanently blocked.
-
These balances can be blocked for various reasons, and users should understand what conditions may lead to their balance being blocked.
-
Some common reasons for balance blocking include:
-
1. Deposits from suspicious wallets
-
If a deposit is made from wallets identified as suspicious, the corresponding balance may be temporarily or permanently blocked to prevent any suspicious activities and to allow for investigation.
-
2. Guarantees
-
In some cases, to use financial guarantees, your balance may be temporarily blocked until the guarantee conditions are fully met.
-
3. Purchase of a prop account as a fiduciary
-
If a prop account is purchased on a fiduciary basis, the corresponding balance will be temporarily blocked while the account’s validity and the agreement’s conditions are reviewed.
-
4. Security reviews
-
To enhance security and prevent fraud, the exchange may request users to block specific balances and undergo identity verification or security reviews.
-
5. Outstanding payments or account issues
-
If the user’s account has payment issues or outstanding payments, some balances may be temporarily blocked until the account status is clarified and unauthorized activities are prevented.
-
When will the blocked balance be released?
-
Blocked balances will be returned to the user account after completing the relevant verification and approval processes (such as identity verification, guarantee fulfillment, or completion of security checks). The balance will be released once the issues are resolved or legal processes are completed.
-
How can I get more information about my blocked balance?
-
If you have any questions about your blocked balance or would like more information, you can submit a ticket to the OXICHANGE support team or contact us via email at [email protected] and submit your request.
